Owned by Alan Bennett, who has a team of experienced cutters beneath him, Davies' remains one of the most successful companies in the Row. Our aim is to provide the highest standards for our clients.

We buy only the finest cloths and interlinings and have a large selection to choose from.

Savile Row: The most famous name in men's tailoring. As the oldest tailors in Savile Row we are one of the leading exponents of the English cut, a combination of style, cutting and craftsmanship essential to creating the look that flatters the figure and communicates substance. The waisted jacket, with its straight shoulder line and egg shaped arm holes evolved from the military riding coats of the past.

Today, the result is an enduring style, elegance and comfort. The company was founded by George Davies in 1803 and after his sudden death in 1804 Thomas, his brother took the helm. They traded from 18-19 Hanover Street from 1804- 1879 and quickly became one of the leading tailors in London.

We are proud to have clothed all the crowned heads of Europe. Davies and Sons made the first the first uniforms for Sir Robert Peel's police force. We have also made clothes for Calvin Klein, Michael Jackson, Peter Coyote, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Clark Gable, Tyrone Power, President Harry Truman, Joseph Kennedy and Benny Goodman to mention just a few.
